VH1's "Save the Music" is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental education in America's public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as a part of each child's complete education. WHY "SAVE THE MUSIC?"
I chose this particular organization because music has obviously been such a huge part of my life. I think it's an extremely important part of our education in schools. Since I have a lot of extra Five Times August promotional material sitting around I thought rather than throw it away, why not sell it and give some of that money to charity? This is only the beginning for me. I'm giving what I can at the moment, but in the future I'm hoping to use this page to help out other organizations and people, not just music related. So check out the auctions, or, there are also some items you can simply buy straight up! Every purchase and winning auction will come with a signed letter of thanks & certificate of authentification from myself.

"Say" rare & out of print 2002 CD
This was Five Times August's first album, originally released simply as "Five Times August" in 2001, it was later re-released as "Say" in 2002. The CD features 10 acoustic tracks not found on any other release.
The CD was manufactured by MP3.com in 2002, which was later bought out by CNET. MP3.com was one of the internet's first independent music websites, offering a chance for unsigned artists to order small quantities of their albums simply by uploading their artwork and mp3's online. Less than 200 of these Mp3.com pressings exist! |
